Beyonce is about to cut the competition some slack. The baddest chick in the game is taking a timeout from music. That’s right, B is putting herself on a six month hiatus

In an interview with USA Today, Beyonce admits she needs to recharge the batteries in order to come up with some fresh material. So she won’t be in the studio for six months.

“It’s definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries. I’d like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again….It will be the hardest thing in the world for me to make myself not do an album and shoot a video and turn it in and say, ‘I’m ready!’… I already have all these melodies and ideas in my head. I have to tell myself, ‘Sit down! Sit down!’”

3,2,1…Every Beyonce-lite R&B diva just hauled ass to the studio. You chicks have six months to get your game right.
