Chris Brown’s got a story to tell and it appears that a lot of people want to hear it. The R&B singer’s sit down with Robin Roberts helped boots the Friday night ratings of ABC’s “20/20.”

According to Nielsen, “20/20″ drew just over 5.7 million viewers on the segment featuring Brown’s interview with Robin Roberts and coverage of the Amanda Knox verdict and reaction from her family. During the interview Chris Brown revealed the song he penned for Rihanna, titled “Changed Man,” telling Roberts his ex-girlfriend cried when he played the song for her.

“I played the song for her… the day I did it… a month after the situation. She called when she first heard the song. And I mean, I’m not trying to say — call her any liar or anything like that. But I played the song for her when I first wrote it. And she cried.”
