People please you can bring any female artist you like in the game and you want win. Jennifer Hudson is the best female vocalist in the industry today hands down. There are some people who are saying different including some in the business, but they are all still stuck on stupid. They say that the truth is the light, and Jhud is shinning all over the place very bright. Out of all she has accomplished I don't know of anyone more deserving than Jennifer Hudson.

What an exciting experience it must have been to meet such a soul icon. Sade is mysterious, beautiful, intriging and full of talent, right down to the tips of her lovely toes. Very, very nice piece. Reads like the beginning of a novel. I can picture it - a writer interviews a very famous, very beautiful singer. They fall for each other over cigarettes, wine and delivery Chinese food, But her career keeps them apart. Much turmoil and drama ensues - but love prevails in the end. I see Antoine Fuqua directing Alicia Keys as the female singer and Lenny Kravitz as the writer. Interesting pair but I think it could work. Now, Mr. Gonzales, your laptop awaits!

Maxwell has always said that music is a "contribution" not a "competition," so I'm not surprised that he "ups" other artists. He's a real music lover with a wide range of musical tastes. He doesn't want nor enjoy competiting with other artists. Rather, he enjoys the contributions all artists make to the musical universe. Leave the swagger and deadly competition to the rap crowd. However, I'm happy to see that, slowly but surely, rap is maturing as well.

Because of Maxwell's tweets I've taken the time to listen to artists whose CD's I normally would have ignored. And I've been encouraged to listen to more music now than I have in years.

Maxwell's also a man of quiet humility, character and conviction. In an interview, I remember he said something to the effect that he never realized he had it in himself to become so involved in the work of helping others. He also said he hopes in the years to come that he would be able to do more. It's rather nice to read his inspirational tweets about life, love and music, about giving to the Red Cross, Haitian earthquake charities, Yele, etc.

During his European concert tour he even tweeted short travel videos. It was like he was taking us along on his excellent adventure. Since I love to travel, those tweets were candy to my eyes.

It's an tired, old cliche but Maxwell is a force of nature. He's such a breath of fresh air in the music industry. I wish him continued success - and keep those tweets coming!
