“Hope For Haiti” Raises $58 Million/Performance Videos

The MTV-sponsored telethon to raise money for earthquake relief in Haiti set a new record for funds raised for disaster drawing in more than $58 million and counting. Check out some videos of the live performances.
According to MTV News, Friday’s “Hope For Haiti” telethon which aired simultaneously on over 30 networks, collected a record-setting amount of funds thanks to donations from millions of viewers across the world. With over a 100 celebrities from music, movies, and television chipping in to answer phones, talk to the audience at home and perform songs the historic event was massive success. Hosted by Wyclef Jean in New York and George Clooney in Los Angles, the telethon saw memorable performances by Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Bono, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, and many more.
