If Kanye West hadn’t hijacked the show, Janet Jackson stellar tribute to her brother Michael Jackson would have been the most talked about moment of the 2009 VMAs.

MTV.com went behind teh scenes with Ms. Jackson to reveal what went into putting tgether the thrilling tribute to her late brother, Michael. The R&B diva called the performance “the most fun” she’s ever had. She believes that her older brother watching from the big HDTV up in heaven. “I know he was watching,” Jackson said. “I know he was looking down. I hope he enjoyed it.”

“The Making of Janet Jackson’s VMA Tribute Performance” re-airs Sunday at 12:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Tuesday at 7 p.m. on MTV.
