Kanye West didn’t kill fame after all. Lady Gaga tried to put an end to all the speculation surrounding the cancellation of the “Fame Kills Tour” by admitting that both parties pulled the plug.

As she arrived for the Billboard Women in Music Event, where she was the recipient of this year’s Rising Star Award, Lady Gaga spoke to Billboard.com about the brewing speculation as to what lead to the cancellation of her much-anticipated “Fame Kills Tour.”

“It was a mutual decision,” Gaga said . “Kanye’s going to take some time off. But the good news is that I’m going on tour in a few weeks.” -Billboard.com
