Mary J. Blige is set to log some screen time along side everyone’s favorite gun-toting granny, Madea, in Tyler Perry’s “I Can Do Bad All By Myself”. The comedy also stars Academy Award nominee Tariji P. Henson.
The Queen of hip-hop/R&B is tackling the silver screen for the second time in her illustrious career in the new Tyler Perry comedy “I Can Do Bad All By Myself”. Blige plays Tanya, a nightclub singer who helps her BFF April (Henson) through the struggles of raising three children unexpectedly delivered to her by Madea.
Just rented “Madea Goes To Jail” this weekend and it was a little disappointing. This looks like it has its moments. This is MJB’s first movie role since she starred along side Q-Tip in 2001’s “Prison Song.”
“I Can Do Bad All By Myself” hits theaters on September 11th.
