Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician in care of Michael Jackson at the time of the music icon’s death, is reportedly ready to surrender to authorities in connection with Jackson’s death.

According to TMZ.com, a criminal complaint has been filed in the case of Michael Jackson’s death last June. Dr. Conrad Murray, who administered a deadly cocktail of drugs to the music icon the morning of his death, plans to turn himself into police today. Dr. Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter — a felony that carries a maximum 4-year prison sentence.

4 years? I’m not sure 4 years is enough given the irresponsible nature of the crime Dr. Murray is accused of. If found guilty, he’ll be the man responsible for killing the greatest musician of all-time. Wow. Now that I’m saying it, living with that stigma is punishment enough Dr. Murray.
