The original glittery glove that Michael Jackson wore during his epic 1983 performance at Motown’s 25th-anniversary TV special is going on the auction block. Mo money, mo money, mo money.

Billboard.com is reporting that memorabilia dealer Julien’s Auctions is making Michael Jackson’s iconic glove available to the highest bidder on November 21 at the “Music Icons” auction at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City’s Times Square. Auctioneer Darren Julien calls the glove “the Holy Grail of Michael Jackson memorabilia.”

The glove has been in the possession of Walter “Clyde” Orange, a founding member of the Commodores, ever since Jackson gave it to him backstage at the Motown 25th anniversary show in 1983.

Also up for grabs at the “Music Icons” auction will be an early Madonna demo tape and unreleased Jimi Hendrix lyrics.

Hmmm. Wait till I get my money right. That original Thriller jacket is mine.
