Long before she was making news for locking lips with Trey Songz, Toni Braxton made headlines for locking down the #1 spot on the Billboard charts.
On December 7, 1996, Toni Braxton’s “Un-Break My Heart” reached the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top 100. The ballad, written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster, would spend 11 weeks as the top record in the country. It remains Braxton’ biggest hit record.
