Valentine’s Day is upon us. And although T.West is all about the business, this weekend is a time for us all to relish the opportunity of reviving our romantic instincts. If only for a brief moment, let’s take a break from the hustle of nine to fives, the perpetual task of paying mortgages, car notes… you get the picture. Over a 48-hour period we can all dial up our inner cupids and find a perfect way to express our everlasting—but sometimes forgetful and neglectful—love. Valentine’s weekend equates to big business for R&B and Soul music artists who begin a hot and heavy three days of live performances. So here’s a suggestion from me to you: this year, why not augment the fattening candy and the fragile flowers with two tickets to a great soul music performance? Maybe this investment will add up to some “big business” for you in other ways as well… Feel me?
