25 years ago Quincy Jones gathered the biggest and brightest stars to make a tribute record for Africa. Now, here’s the much-anticipated remake with today’s biggest and brightest singing for Haiti.

The video debuted on Friday to some mixed reviews. Check it out for yourself.

I know alot of people didn’t like the song, but you have to consider the fact that 25 years ago rappers and auto-tune weren’t as important as they are now. (I say that with tongue firmly planted in cheek.) It was a different world back then without them. So let’s not try to compare the tw songs. They both serve their own worthy causes.
